The purpose of this CIRN 2007 activity is to draft a model community informatics curriculum. The resulting document will then be made available on the CI e-mail list, ciresearchers @ vancouvercommunity.net, for further discussion after the conference. It is hoped that the curriculum will eventually be published in the Journal of Community Informatics.

The process that will be used is called a book sprint (cf. Book Sprint: A New Model for Rapid Book Authoring and Content Development and WSFii 2005 Book Sprint). Initial input into this process will be sought via the ciresearchers @ vancouvercommunity.net e-mail list. This will allow a pre-conference outline and draft to be prepared.
