General Ideas

Lots of people had lots of good ideas during the conference, people had some nice conversations in the cafes and bars. Put them here!

  • We should definitely do something with TheBigQuestions! This is very rich material, which gives a snapshot of the current research interests of the CIRN community. There are many ways in which we could use them: raw material for an initial set of tags describing what we do and aspire, input for research agendas, projects and collaborations, and so on. Browsing these questions also allows people who were not at the conference to get a sense of what the general "conceptual atmosphere" of the conference was about, etc. etc. (Aldo de Moor)

  • We generated many questions, but few answers (of course!) Taking TheBigQuestions further would require structuring them into a few major themes, trying to get online discussion groups committed to refining or decomposing the questions, finding first answers (or resources) or setting up new research agendas.
